Hi... so some of you found the game.
I'm still putting in sound. Not surprisingly, this is more complicated than I expected, and will take a bit more than a week if I want it done well. However, with more than 1 person other than myself playing the game, a replay bug has presented itself.... that I must fix first.
My current method of detecting differences in pcs apparently isn't accurate enough. Sometimes you may see that someone completed a level (listed as accurate) in a certain time. When you watch that replay, they may never finish the level. This has happened only a couple times for me, but viewing the replay always gives the same result.
Sooooo, I'm not sure why this is happening, and I will be attempting to fix this. When it's done I will not delete the old replays, but with the new method in there, you will most likely see your old replays listed as inaccurate. That sucks, but it's better than deleting them i suppose.
Or maybe I should delete all of them while the game is still new so they're not cluttering shit up?

hey ireally love this game, spend at least a hour on it each day, but i have a few suggestions.....in the level editor, would it be possible to make more objects sleeping?and more of that kinda thing?.. also, cant wait for new characters, i had a few ideas of some, like maybe a little kid(irresponsible dad's son)riding on a tricycle, a skateboarder (maybe able to do some basic tricks while in air )etc. So yeah XD awesome game

This game is amazing I can't wait for new characters. I love dropping my kid as irresponsible dad, when I go over a big jump. I know it's awful I just simply can't feel guilt about it.

Hi, just thought I'd mention that I find adding certain physics objects like wrecking balls subtly changes the physic solving consistensy - E.G I made a level a day ago that was a "Don't Do Anything" style level. Once I added wrecking balls to the late stages of creation, it subtly affected the level that certain reactions played out differently, ruining the continuity. Makes it hard to impale little cycle boy accurately :) Hope this info helps in some way.

Yes, a zombie character would be cool, skater is also a good idea, I thought a little kid on a tricycle would be nice and dark also. A clown, a biker, I thought an astronaut would also be fun, throw him in one of those moon buggies. Maybe a mime on a unicycle if you're a pro at arrow key controls. Maybe a robot also, I thought even though this game is called Happy WHEELS and not happy SHOES, if you jumped off of your vehicle, if there were some running physics as well, you can take these ideas or leave them, they are just my 2 cents worth.

You are awesome, I got some suggestions for you! Thing with replays : I would say delete the old ones before it's to late so nothing gets well.. fu**ed up with new scripts and stuff, just try making this as stable as it can be so you dont get alot of problems in future developing! Your answer on download the game: You are completly right Jim you should leave the game on this site definitly so you can profit a bit (I mean you are freaking famous, this game is the best flash based game I can think of) and for the download charge 5$ or more! Nobody can hate you for it! You made something FANTASTIC! Hope I helped! Add your stuff, but better hurry a bit so the userbase keeps this big and entertained at the updates! You could integrate an ad system into the game. I.e., background billboard - doesn't interact with the game and hardly noticable.

No idea about how you (and flash) implements stuff (the replays for example), but are you sure that it's not (also?) a matter of computer power and refresh rate? (and I second the request for showing the time before submitting)

Oh, and if you get victory on the level, please please make it show the time - that way the ones of us who want fastest time don't need to spam your database with tons of saves which are "almost" fastest. :)

I have to say, this game is pure gold. Thanks a lot for making it such a fun experience! A few things though: On my home PC, irresponsible dad behaves like this: http://www.totaljerkface.com/happy_wheels.php?replayid=2218 . Just wondering if you are aware of that bug :) Also, I've had numerous other small glitches (fatso's tires going in ground, etc) on my home PC - we can discuss details mail-wise if you're interested.

I'd settle for allowing it to go full screen too. :) Really, I was just looking for away to do that. (I know I can hold control and zoom in in the browser, but it's not really the same)

Jim, perhaps you could make it so if you would want to update the game, or if you would want to get new levels, it would make you go to the website. That will keep your ad income running, while people play the games on their desktop.

i haven't really thought about making it downloadable just yet. that would eliminate any ad revenue i could make. but maybe i could make it so people would pay a couple bucks for it and play it on their desktop. i don't know... any decision i act upon takes forever because it's just me.
